By Michaela Saunders
WORLD-HERALD STAFF WRITER

Two Omaha elementary schools will have new principals when students return for the second semester Jan. 5.

Ray Perrigo, longtime principal at Ashland Park/Robbins Elementary, will leave the school to become principal of a new elementary school that will be built at 42nd and V Streets.

The school is being designed and will open in the 2011-12 school year. The school is intended to ease overcrowding at three nearby schools, including Ashland Park/Robbins.

Donna Dobson, principal at Jackson Elementary, will take over as principal at Ashland Park/Robbins, at 5050 S. 51 St.

Bryan Dunne will become principal at Jackson Elementary, at 620 S. 31 St. Dunne currently is overseeing implementation of the district's new student data system.
