What happened: The theme was “Bluejay Game Day,” a takeoff on ESPN's Game Day. Some of the auction items fetching the highest bids were dinner for six with Creighton's president, the Rev. John Schlegel ($5,000); dinner for 10 at basketball coach Dana Altman's home and cooked by his wife, Reva ($4,000); and tables at next year's dinner with waiter service by Athletic Director Bruce Rasmussen (two packages, each $4,900).
