Size: approximately 252,000 square feet

Capacity: 1,000 students. Can grow to 1,500 with a planned future addition.

Colors: Navy and gold. That’s shiny gold, like Notre Dame.

Mascot: The Storm.

Slogan: To be determined. Suggestions include, “A storm is coming” and “The calm before the storm.” Principal Mark Kalvoda admits that it will be tough to beat “Fear the Deer,” a slogan of the Elkhorn High School Antlers.

Funding: A $96 million bond issue voters approved in 2006. It also covered upgrades at the football field at Elkhorn High School and construction of West Dodge Station Elementary School and Elkhorn Valley View Middle School.
