The seventh-ranked Nebraska volleyball team advanced to Omaha's NCAA regional Saturday with a 25-14, 25-17, 25-21 second-round victory over No. 20 Northern Iowa.
The Huskers recorded their ninth straight sweep and snapped the Panthers' 29-match winning streak. It marks the 16th consecutive year NU has made it to the third round of the NCAA tournament, more than double the length of the next longest active streak in the country.
