Cards made for troops

Families participating in downtown Papillion's Winter Wonderland got a chance to send holiday greetings to troops overseas, thanks to Creekside Framing & Gallery.

Several Papillion merchants stayed open late on Nov. 27 for the annual holiday lighting and family activities sponsored by the Papillion Community Foundation.

Creekside Framing again offered free holiday card making to participants. Families were encouraged to create cards for friends, family and military members stationed overseas.

This year more than 80 one-of-a-kind holiday cards were created to send to the troops.
