Mosaic celebrated the charter of its first Aktion Club in Omaha at a gathering of club members and their families, Mosaic staff members and Kiwanis Club members on Nov. 17 at Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Aktion Club's goals are to provide adults with disabilities an opportunity to develop leadership skills, serve their community, be integrated into society and live with dignity.
The Kiwanis Club of Omaha gave the Aktion Club a $500 donation at the celebration.
