Jean Jaskierny of Glenwood, Iowa, shares this recipe for a nutty cookie that looks like it dropped from the tree.
“These are a family favorite,” she writes. “We have several acorn-producing oaks in our yard. These delicious cookies are the holiday reminder of our local abundance and heritage.”
