Papio man sentenced for child porn

A 48-year-old Papillion man has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison for receiving and distributing child pornography.

Authorities said that the Nebraska State Patrol traced several videos of child pornography it received in 2008 via the Internet to James Weekly’s Papillion home.

A federal search warrant was served at Weekly’s home, where officers found more than 200 videos and 2,000 images of child pornography on Weekly’s laptop, desktop and other computer media.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Omaha said all of the child pornography would be destroyed. — AP
