Several promotions were announced Wednesday at Union Pacific Corp., including expanded responsibilities for the senior operations executive.
Dennis J. Duffy, executive vice president of operations, will become vice chairman of operations effective Jan. 1. The chief mechanical officer and vice presidents of engineering, premium operations and Mexico operations will report to him.
Lance M. Fritz, currently vice president of labor relations, will become vice president of operations and report to Duffy.
William R. Turner, currently assistant vice president of labor relations, will succeed Fritz as vice president of that department.
Robert M. Grimaila, senior assistant vice president of safety, security and environment, will become vice president of that department.
