Neb. court needs discussed

LINCOLN (AP) — State judicial officials are holding their annual meeting to determine whether changes are needed to balance court caseloads.

The hearing Tuesday will be held by way of video conferencing from the state Capitol with links to sites in Scottsbluff, Omaha and Hastings. Anyone may attend the hearing.

The Judicial Resources Commission must determine whether there is an appropriate number of judges in each district and whether district boundaries need any adjustment.

Following the hearing, the commission will make a recommendation to the Legislature.
