Louderback runs for Legislature

LINCOLN — A Plattsmouth man, who holds master's degrees in both politics and business administration, has filed as a candidate to represent eastern Nebraska's District 2 in the Legislature.

Nate Louderback, 30, is the first candidate to file against incumbent State Sen. Dave Pankonin of Louisville.

Louderback, who was born in Papillion, said his jobs with TD Ameritrade and Securities America Inc., his current employer, have allowed him to realize the cost of government regulations.

If elected, Louderback said he would push for lower taxes and smarter government regulation to create jobs in Nebraska.

Louderback earned a bachelor's degree in political science at Creighton University and master's degrees in politics from New York University and in business administration at Bellevue University. He and his wife, Morgan, have two children.

Both Louderback and Pankonin are registered Republicans. The Legislature is officially nonpartisan.
