Garbage collection in Omaha has been suspended until Monday, when the city's contractor will try to collect both Friday and Monday routes.
City officials blamed the storm for the delay.
Residents who regularly receive collection on Friday or Monday should have their materials set out by by 6 a.m. Monday, city officials said.
If possible, please hold recyclables until the following week.
People can help Deffenbaugh Industries workers by ensuring that materials set out for collection remain visible and accessible.
Missed collections may be reported to the city’s Solid Waste Hotline, 444-5238, after 7 p.m. on the scheduled collection day.
