    Monday Creighton game canceled

    The Creighton women’s basketball team’s game Monday with North Dakota State has been canceled due to the adverse weather conditions.

    The NDSU team is unable to reconvene in Fargo following its Christmas break in time to travel to Omaha. Creighton coach Jim Flanery and NDSU coach Carolyn DeHoff will attempt to reschedule the game later this season, but if they are unable to do so, the Bison will be put back on the Creighton schedule for a home game during the 2010-11 season.

    Creighton (5-4) will now turn its attention to Missouri Valley play. The Bluejays will play at Indiana State (9-2) to open Valley action on Dec. 31 at 4:30 p.m. (CST).
