A giant gingerbread house that took 35 hours to create was raffled off to benefit the Goodfellows charity.

Samantha Negron, food service director for the Newsmakers restaurant in the Omaha World-Herald Building, created the house that stood 3 feet tall.

Negron said $125 was raised for Goodfellows through the sale of raffle tickets. Pete Walkley of The World-Herald won the house and donated it to the Siena-Francis House homeless shelter.
