LINCOLN (AP) -- Police say a 22-year-old Lincoln man has been accused of running a cat through the spin cycle of a washing machine.
Officer Katie Flood says police were called to a Lincoln home on Sunday by the roommate of Richard Andersen.
Flood says the roommate found a video on Andersen's cell phone of Andersen putting the cat, named Delilah, into the washing machine. She says Andersen can be heard saying "it's the spin cycle."
Delilah survived the ordeal, but Andersen was cited for animal cruelty.
Andersen could not be reached for comment.
