NU STAR
Give Nebraska safety Matt O'Hanlon credit for the play that set the tone Wednesday night. The senior came over to intercept a Nick Foles pass on the third play of the game, and returned it 37 yards to the Arizona 5. O'Hanlon nearly intercepted another pass later and finished with five tackles.
HIGHLIGHT
Nebraska finished the first half with a flourish. Foles tried a shovel pass to Nic Grigsby, but NU defensive tackle Jared Crick and linebacker Phillip Dillard pulled Grigsby backwards and slammed him to the turf.
BUSTED PLAY
They're few and far between when you hold an opponent to 109 yards and no points, but the Huskers did have a brief third-quarter mishap. Foles snuck in a 13-yard pass to Delashaun Dean for only the Wildcats' second first down, and 15 yards were added to the play when Ndamukong Suh was called for roughing the passer.
OUR TAKE
Nebraska capped a season of dominating defense with its best and most thorough performance. The pass coverage left Foles with nowhere to go, and the pressure eventually started coming to make it even worse. The regular season was special, but the postseason performances against Texas and Arizona will be something to remember as Suh and four other senior starters leave the program.
