Nominations sought for women's award

An initiative based at the University of Nebraska at Omaha is looking for a few good women worthy of honors.

The university's Lifelong Learning Initiative is accepting nominations through Jan. 15 for a local woman who's at least 50 years old and has done extraordinary work for the community, a church, a school, an office or a neighborhood.

Three nominees will be selected and honored at a luncheon this spring.
