LINCOLN -- The 27-year-old owner of a small construction company plans to challenge for the state legislative seat now occupied by State Sen. Danielle Conrad.
Chad Wright, the owner and operator of Wright’s Shed Co., said today that he will file for election in north Lincoln's District 46.
A Republican who is married and has two children, it will be Wright's first run for public office. Wright said his priorities will be attracting jobs, lowering taxes and providing a quality education system.
Conrad, a Democrat, has not yet filed for reelection but has indicated that she intends to run again.
