Buy a frozen dinner. Get a chance to win some cash.

Until the end of April, shoppers who reach into their grocer's freezer and pull out a Banquet dinner have the opportunity to win between $10 and $100,000 in prize money from ConAgra Foods Inc.

The Omaha-based company said it will give a total of $1 million to 16,000 customers.

The campaign is a way for the company to say “thank you” to loyal customers, said Tom McGough, vice president and general manager of the Banquet division.

A “Thanks A Million” announcement will show up on the front of all participating Banquet items.

Banquet is ConAgra's largest selling and least expensive frozen food brand and has become increasingly popular as more consumers choose to eat at home rather than dine out.

During the second quarter ending in November, sales of Banquet grew 6 percent year-over-year “driven by the introduction of new products and related marketing programs,” according to the quarterly Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
