SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Creighton women's basketball team dropped its first conference road game on Friday, falling 70-64 at Missouri State.
The Bluejays (12-7, 7-3) had a four-game winning streak in Missouri Valley road games snapped.
Megan Neuvirth led Creighton with 16 points and eight rebounds. Sam Schuett, Kelsey Woodard and Chevelle Herring each added 11 points.
Jaleshia Roberson had 19 points to pace the Bears (15-6, 7-3), and Christiana Shorter chipped in 18 points.
The Jays next play at Wichita State on Sunday at 2:05 p.m.
