LINCOLN — Nebraska soccer coach John Walker said he has signed a strong group of nine athletes for next season.
“They are very balanced with athleticism, soccer skills and leadership qualities,’’ he said.
The Huskers lost six seniors to graduation.
Those signing are midfielder Hannah Dittmar of Gretna; forward Maddie Hanssler of Parker, Colo.; defender Maritza Hayes of O’Fallon, Mo.; midfielder Ashley Hick of Millard North; midfielder Kylie Kusleika of Omaha Westside; forward Megan Merrill of Millard West; goalkeeper Mallorie Monhollan of Topeka, Kan.; midfielder Ari Romero of Surprise, Ariz.; and goalkeeper Amy Swearer of Lincoln Lutheran and Skyview High School in Vancouver, Wash.
