NORFOLK, Neb. -- Leona Gleed of Norfolk, 109, Nebraska's oldest living twin, died Sunday at Heritage of Bel Air, where she had been staying.
Services are pending.
Gleed was the second-oldest living twin in the world behind Ruth Anderson of Minnesota, according to Gerontology Research Group.
Along with being the oldest twin in Nebraska history, she is the sixth oldest twin in recorded history, according to the Gerontology Research Group. She would have turned 110 on March 28.
Her twin brother, Leo, died in 1990.
