TULSA, Okla. — The Nebraska softball team blasted 11 hits in a five-inning, 10-2 rout of North Dakota Sunday morning, then fell to tournament host Tulsa 6-4 in the afternoon to complete its play in the Embassy Suites Festival.
The afternoon setback was the third loss to the Golden Hurricane in the three-day tournament for Nebraska (11-10). Junior Julie Brechtel homered and tied her career high with four RBIs in the morning win.
