An Omaha man was ordered held without bail in connection with the sexual assault and kidnapping of a 4 1/2-year-old girl.
Hector Medina-Liborio, 25, of 3611 S. 68 St, No. 83, appeared in court Wednesday morning. Douglas County District Judge John Huber honored the prosecutor's request that Medina-Liborio be held without bail.
Prosecutor Renee Mathias said Medina-Liborio was found running down the street Monday morning with the little girl, who was wearing only a shirt. The child had been taken from a home that Medina-Liborio and a group of friends were visiting.
Medina-Liborio, the father of two, was charged with kidnapping and sexual assault.
