DES MOINES — Junior Matt Bohannon scored a team-high 18 points to lead Linn-Mar past Sioux City East 62-57 Saturday in the Class 4-A consolation game.
The 6-foot-4 Bohannon scored 16 of his 18 in the first half, hitting 4 of 5 from 3-point range and leading second-rated and second-seeded Linn-Mar (24-2) to a 33-25 halftime lead.
For East, 6-11 sophomore Adam Woodbury finished with game-highs of 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Junior guard Quinton Behlers added 12 points for the sixth-rated and fifth-seeded Black Raiders, who finished 21-5 in their seventh state appearance in 10 years.
East's only lead came at 2-0. Linn-Mar then went on a 14-2 run. The final score was the closest East came in the second half.
In the 3-A consolation game, Joe Daniel scored 20 points to lead Davenport Assumption past Mount Pleasant 55-44.

Daniel, Irlbeck make all-tourney team
DES MOINES — IKM-Manning senior Bryce Irlbeck and Carroll Kuemper sophomore Carter Daniel have been named to the Class 2-A all-tournament team.
Joining Irlbeck and Daniel on the team were Tanner Wentzien and Hale Rickels of Solon, along with Tyler Wolterstorff and captain Bryce Groeneweg of Western Christian.
Kuemper won the Class 2-A sportsmanship award, and IKM-Manning's Jerad Croghan was presented the achiever's award from the Iowa Bankers Association.
The Class 1-A all-tournament team consisted of Marcus Heemstra, Jordan Dykstra and Nic Bakker of Rock Valley, Corey Gifford of Lynnville-Sully and captain Ryan Powers of Calamus-Wheatland.
Calamus-Wheatland won the sportsmanship award, and Rock Valley's Trey Van Maanen won the achiever's award.
