An 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were injured after an early morning shooting Saturday.

Omaha police responded to the area of 20th and Ohio Streets just before 1:30 a.m. to investigate the shooting, said Officer Michael Pecha, a police spokesman.

When officers arrived, they located the 18-year-old with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The 16-year-old reported being hit by the gunfire, but refused medical treatment.

According to the victims and witnesses at the scene, a large group of people were standing outside of a home near 20th and Ohio Streets when a black male in a brown 1990s-model, two-door Cadillac opened fire.
