No injuries in Lozier fire

Omaha firefighters spent nearly 1 1/2 hours battling a fire Monday morning at Lozier Store Fixtures, 6316 John J. Pershing Dr.

To keep the fire from spreading, firefighters tore out portions of walls in an area where workers do painting and powder coating, said Assistant Fire Chief Tim Book. The fire was called in about 9:15 a.m. and was declared under control about 10:40 a.m.

Operations in that part of the business were shut down, and power to part of the building was turned off, Book said.

No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
