CRAWFORD, Neb. - Drug investigators seized marijuana and marijuana plants after arresting two Crawford men.
Shane Nedella, 37, and Robert Stone, 41, were arrested Friday, according to a release from Crawford Chief Julio F. Medeiros III and the WING Task Force.
Police served a search warrant and Nedella's home on Annin Street Friday afternoon at about 4 p.m. Police seized an unspecified quantity of marijuana, numerous marijuana plants and other drug paraphernalia associated with the possession, cultivating and distribution of a controlled substance, Medeiros said. While executing the warrant at Nedella's home, police developed information which lead them to Stone, a neighbor of Nedella's. At Stone's home, police seized another unspecified quantity of marijuana.
Police arrested Nedella on felony charges of producing and harvesting marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Stone was arrested on charges of possession of more than an ounce of marijuana and less than one pound of marijuana and a charge of accessory to producing and harvesting marijuana.
Both men were jailed in Dawes County.
