PRIMM, Nev. — The Nebraska men's golf team won its first tournament in four years Tuesday, finishing with a 15-stroke victory over runner-up Arkansas State in the Jackrabbit Invitational at the Primm Valley Golf Club.
Individual champion Brandon Crick of McCook, Neb., who shot 68 in the final round to win by five strokes, helped Nebraska to a 4-under-par 860 in the 17-team event that South Dakota State hosted.
Crick finished 54 holes at 9 under. Brett Nymeyer, closing with a 67, was sixth for the Huskers. Mike Coatman and Scott Willman tied for seventh at 220 and Andrew Wyatt tied for 19th at 224.
