Omaha home burns twice

A house in west Omaha that caught fire twice in recent days sustained severe damage, a fire department official said Tuesday.

The house at 15118 Westchester Circle caught fire Sunday evening and again early Monday morning, according to Capt. Jim Gentile, Fire Department spokesman. The home is near 156th Street and West Dodge Road.

Damage from the two fires totaled $80,000 to the structure, which was valued at $120,000, Gentile said. Contents worth $40,000 were destroyed.

The second fire was brought under control about an hour after it was reported at 4:13 a.m.
