LINCOLN —- Ashley Guile went 4 for 8 with three RBIs in a Wednesday doubleheader to help Nebraska sweep South Dakota 7-5 and 9-3 at Bowlin Stadium.
Guile was 3 for 4 with two RBIs in game two, and Alex Hupp (2-0) pitched the victory as NU raised its record to 15-13.
Guile was 1 for 4 with an RBI in game one, and Julie Brechtel and Hupp each went 2 for 4 with two RBIs in the opener.
Ashley Hagemann (7-8) struck out nine in six innings to collect the victory in the opener.
Mel Johnson led the Coyotes (4-14) with a 4-for-7 batting performance.
Nebraska’s next action is March 24, with a 3 p.m. doubleheader against Wisconsin at Bowlin Stadium.
