A 23-year-old Omaha woman has died following an early morning crash that sent her car careening into a house near 156th Street and West Giles Road.
Alesa Goods was traveling alone when she lost control of her Hyundai Elantra as it was traveling south on 156th Street just before 1:45 a.m., according to the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office.
The car left the road, crashed through a backyard fence and struck the back of a house at 8116 S. 155th Ave.
Goods, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered internal injuries and was taken to Nebraska Medical Center, the sheriff's office said. She died a couple hours later.
The crash remains under investigation.
Damage to the house is estimated at $13,000.
