MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) -- Mason City police say an 81-year-old woman was not hurt when her car slammed into a bank, but the building was damaged.
Police say Marjorie Evans, of Mason City, apparently lost control of her car on Wednesday while she was trying to park. She drove into the east side of the US Bank building.
Officials say Evans wasn't injured, but the accident caused about $10,000 in damage to the bank.
