Some Omaha-area kids won’t be pulling out their soccer cleats or pom-poms just yet.
The YMCA of Greater Omaha is delaying the start of the spring season for soccer, flag football and cheerleading because of wet field conditions.
Games will begin on April 10, not March 27.
The delay does not affect the volleyball season, which still will begin March 27.
