KEARNEY - People from 172 of Nebraska's 530 incorporated villages, towns and cities have purchased tickets to attend the Nebraska Cattlemen's Ball June 4-5 near Kearney.
Ticket Sales Co-Chairman Todd Herges said that as of Monday morning, 2,727 tickets had been purchased by people from 67 of Nebraska's 93 counties.
Volunteer help is still needed. You can sign up on the Cattlemen's Ball website.
Proceeds benefit the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Eppley Cancer Center.
