Pony Express re-enactors will take three days to cross Nebraska, starting Friday, before arriving in St. Joseph, Mo., June 26.
Nearly two dozen Nebraska stops are planned. Some will last only 15 minutes. Anyone wishing to see the riders should be aware that they may be anywhere from two hours ahead to two hours behind schedule, organizers said.

The 150th Anniversary Re-Ride ends with a river crossing, a parade through downtown St. Joseph, swinging past the Pony Express Monument and ending at the Patee House Museum.
