There's lots to do and see — all for free — at Rosenblatt Stadium Friday during the opening celebration. It all leads up to the evening concert and opening ceremonies, and ends with a bang of fireworks.
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open team practice sessions
10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fan Fest: interactive games, displays, prizes and photo opportunities; baseball skills clinics for kids; home run derby field; Rosenblatt tribute booth where you can record your favorite CWS memories
10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Team autograph sessions
6 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Road to Omaha Jam featuring Julianne Hough and Bucky Covington
8:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. Opening ceremonies: grand entrance and introduction of teams; NCAA awards; parachute team landing; U.S. Air Force Heartland of America Band; Rosenblatt CWS Legends Team introductions; fireworks finale
