The Travel Channel series “Ghost Adventures” is spending the next few days in southwest Iowa investigating the Villisca Murder House, said the house’s owner Darwin Linn.
The house was the site of a notorious 1912 massacre that killed eight and remains unsolved. Some believe the house is haunted.
Linn said the crew would be filming in and around town and the house through Friday or Saturday of this week. He said the footage would air “probably sometime around Halloween” on the Travel Channel.
“Ghost Adventures” follows the research and exploration of purportedly haunted locations by a group of ghost hunters.
