OGALLALA, Neb. (AP) — Free beach fun at Nebraska’s biggest lake is being offered by the state Game and Parks Commission on the last day of July.
Sand sculpting and kite flying will be highlighted at the annual Kites and Castles event July 31 at the Martin Bay area of Lake McConaughy.
A sand-sculpting contest will be held for all ages and skill levels.
Registration before the event is preferred, but not required.
A park entry permit is required.
