The 6-foot, 193-pound Santos visited NU last weekend. He gives the Huskers 13 pledges for their class of 2011, including six defenders and three players from Texans.
Santos, a senior this fall at Klein Collins High School, also considered scholarship offers from Kansas, Arkansas and Utah, among others.
Santos will likely play outside linebacker in college.
