Government offices will be closed and most public services will be suspended Monday in observance of Labor Day.
All federal, state, county and city offices, libraries and courts will be closed. Utilities offices will not be open, but emergency numbers will be answered.
This is the plan for various services:
Mail: No delivery.
Parking meters: Coins not required in Omaha or Council Bluffs.
Garbage collection: No trash or yard waste picked up in Omaha. All collections pushed back one day all week.
Bus service: Metro buses don’t run.
Newspaper: All World-Herald subscribers receive a morning paper.
