A 24-year-old Omaha man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after a shooting Saturday.
Police responded about 4:15 a.m. to a house near 17th and Clark Streets. When officers arrived, they found Branden Jackson with gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center. Police said his injuries were not believed to be life threatening. His condition Saturday afternoon was not available.
Police said Jackson was uncooperative when they attempted to interview him, and he did not have any information about the shooter.
Witnesses reported seeing a black sedan and cream-colored Oldsmobile leave the area soon after the shooting, said Officer Michael Pecha, a police spokesman.
