Mike Krumland of Columbus defeated Bill Lawson of Omaha in 19 holes in Wednesday's final of the new Nebraska Senior Match Play Championship at the Pines Country Club in Valley.
Krumland was 4 down after nine holes, but he rallied to square the match on the 17th hole and won the first extra hole with par.
In the morning semifinals, Krumland topped Murray Krambeer of Bellevue in 20 holes. Lawson defeated David Evans of Omaha 4 and 3.
