Illinois pro leads Nebraska Open by 2

COLUMBUS, Neb. — Brad Marek of Arlington Heights, Ill., shot his second consecutive 66 at Elks Country Club on Saturday to take a two-stroke lead into Sunday’s final round of the Wells Fargo Nebraska Open.

Midlands pros closest to the leader are Judd Cornell of Omaha and Raul Cortes de la Riva of York, each four off the lead. Ryan Vermeer of Omaha and John Hurley of O’Neill, each shooting the day’s low round of 65, are six back along with former Nebraska Nathan Lashley and Justin Herron of Omaha.
