Four-day ticket packages are on sale for the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials, set for the CenturyLink Center Omaha beginning June 25.
The four-day packages are designed so that fans can see all of the top U.S. swimmers, said Doug Parrott, a local spokesman for the Trials. Swimmers like Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Natalie Coughlin and Missy Franklin will compete in multiple events during the Trials. Each night, finals will be held to select members of the Olympic team.
The packages also offer fans the best seats, Parrott said. Single-day tickets won't go on sale until closer to the Trials' start.
Packages are priced at $180, $235 and $290 and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or at the CenturyLink Center box office. Packages are for Monday, June 25, through Thursday, June 28, and for Friday, June 29, through Monday, July 2, and are good for both the morning preliminaries and evening finals.
USA Swimming officials say ticket sales so far are running slightly above figures for 2008. The 2008 Swim Trials produced the biggest crowds ever to see a U.S. swimming competition.
