This is not a farewell.

I can't bring myself to say goodbye to Omaha's nightlife community, especially when I'm just a click away.

By now, you may have heard: I've been named editor of momaha, an online community and forum where moms meet to share advice, support, current events and laughable parenting moments. (Dads are welcome, too.) I'm thrilled at the opportunity to help the site grow.

My life as a mom is headed down a new path, and I'd like to take my readers along. (Ahem, that means you.)

So this is not a goodbye memo. Instead, it's a welcome note to join me on momaha.com.
