An Exira, Iowa, man died in a single-vehicle accident Thursday night in Shelby County.
Gary Davis, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck on County Road M47 in Irwin, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
Davis was traveling north on County Road M47 at the Irwin city limits in a 2008 Pontiac G6 about 11:50 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle on a curve.
The Pontiac entered the ditch and rolled onto its top.
An investigation into the wreck continues, the sheriff’s office said.
