University of Nebraska at Omaha officials gave the NU Board of Regents a $200 million checklist of recently completed expansion and renovation projects Friday morning.

But they filled in no blanks about the future, including athletic facilities.

UNO presented a required five-year update of its 2006-2015 Facilities Development Plan to the regents’ business affairs committee.

Chancellor John Christensen said $200 million has been invested in campus expansion and renovation, increasing UNO’s space by 31 percent.

The checklist of completed projects includes housing for 384 more students at Maverick Village, $29 million; renovating and expanding Criss Library, $18 million; College of Public Affairs and Community Service renovation and addition, $19 million; Health Physical Education renovation and addition, $39 million; and Roskens Hall renovation, $14 million.

Regents were expected to approve Friday afternoon plans to build a $6 million biomechanics research facility southwest of Caniglia Field.

They noted the acquisition of 60 acres of land south of Center Street near Little Papillion Creek, but revealed no plans for the open ground.

UNO has talked about athletic fields, student housing and university outreach buildings south of Center, but the planning process is still under way, John Amend, UNO’s director of facilities and planning told the regents.
