View the updated USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map
This past week, the U.S. Department of Agriculture updated, for the first time in 22 years, its hardiness zone map.
The map is easily searchable by state or ZIP code.
Here is the USDA's list of plants considered suitable for zone 4 and zone 5, which are the zones encompassing Nebraska and Iowa.
Zone 4 (-30 to -20 degrees F)
