A 34-year-old Cambridge, Neb., man was killed in a traffic accident in southwest Nebraska.

Michael Morgan died about 11:50 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of County Road 407 and U.S. Highway 6.

The intersection is about two miles west of Cambridge in Red Willow County.

Morgan's car was southbound on County Road 407 when the vehicle missed the intersection at Highway 6 and rolled into a field, the Nebraska State Patrol said.
